When you engage with our app or website, we may collect essential details such as your name, email, your children’s ages, and photos. In addition, we collect data about your interactions with the app, including all the recordings (Zoogs) you create. Please be aware that users who view your Zoogs or other content may save or copy it outside the app.
When you contact our Support team or communicate with us in any other way, we will collect any information you voluntarily provide or that is necessary to address your inquiries.
2.2. Information We Gather During Service Use
While you use our services, we collect usage data to better understand behavior and enhance the user experience. Rest assured, this data is kept under our control and is not shared or sold to any third-party companies.

Data related to how you use the app and the website.
2.2.2. Device Information
We collect information about the devices you use, including hardware and software details such as hardware models, operating system versions, device memory, advertising identifiers, unique application identifiers, installed apps, unique device identifiers, device usage data, browser types, and time zones. We also gather information about your wireless and mobile network connections, such as your mobile phone number, service provider, and IP address.
2.2.3. Camera, Photos, and Audio
For features like video recording and sharing, we may request access to your device’s camera and audio. Some Zoogs may require access to your Photos, but we will always seek your permission before proceeding. It’s important to note that we do not share any recordings without your explicit consent to promote the app.
Your data will be retained for as long as you remain a Zoog user, or if you are a paying user. Free users’ recordings may be deleted after 60 days, but rest assured, we do not share these recordings with third-party partners, and they are securely stored on our servers.
3. Snapchat Camera Kit
If you access our app or website from the USA, you may be asked to agree to an external Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, separate from Zoog. We collaborate with Snapchat as a partner, aiming to enhance augmented reality experiences. While Zoog does not directly share information with Snapchat, Snapchat may collect facial information to improve your AR experiences. We regularly update the API to enhance this collaboration.

4. Cookies
Our service does not explicitly use cookies. However, third-party code and libraries integrated into the app may employ cookies to collect information and enhance their services. We offer a personal data deletion tool that allows you to anonymize all personally identifiable data you have generated while using Zoog. This includes information from your user account, such as name, profile picture, and email. However, data required by law to be maintained by a business will be excluded.
To delete your account, you can use the option available on the Zoog iOS app. Alternatively, you can request Personal Data Deletion by emailing us at delete@getzoog.com from the email address associated with your Zoog account.
